The National Chung Cheng University (CCU) as a higher education entity and the sounding member of the society, for the past three years, has been taking its role seriously to execute its Bamboo industry relevant University Social Responsibility (USR) projects carefully, on the aspects of the technology, culture, education and marketing to help local bamboo trade. More, not only has it joined the World Bamboo Organization (WBO), but also lately signed a cooperation agreement with Indian organization the "South Asia Bamboo Foundation (SABF)". CCU aims to upgrade and promote local bamboo business, through the international exchange and talent cultivation cooperative programs, in the hope to gradually open up a wider international market for Taiwan's bamboo industry.
